Sugar Mill/Zuckerfabrik Pagottan

Big changes in Pagottan! Last year they changed the colour of the locos, but for this season they dumped all tenders and converted the Luttermöllers no. 6, 7 (both inside frame) and no 8 (outside frame) to fireless locomotives. All three were in use. With one steam filling they can push four loaded trains in to the mill, then they need to be filled again. They’re working only with their normal pressure (12 atm), they didn’t built in a high pressure reservoir as modern fireless locos used to have.

It’s a bit strange to see the large locomotives without their tender and with a one man crew only. New was also that they sometimes use two locomotives now to push a train into the mill.

Except no. 5 they removed all steam locomotives (no. 1, 2 and 3) from the shed and stored them outside. No. 3 has no boiler.

Große Änderungen in der Zuckermühle Pagottan! Letztes Jahr hat man den Luttermöller-Lokomotiven eine  neue Lackierung verpasst, aber für diese Saison hat man sie ihrer Tender „beraubt“ und sie in feuerlose Loks umgebaut. Alle drei (Innenrahmen-Luttermöller Nr. 6, 7 und Außenrahmen-Luttermöller Nr. acht – ich kann hier nicht 8 schreiben und eine Klammer dahinter machen, weil dann so ein dämliches smily im Text auftaucht, das Internet ist offensichtlich für Filmegucker, Spieler und Doofe optimiert) standen im Einsatz. Mit einer Dampffüllung können die Maschinen vier beladene Züge in die Zuckerfabrik schieben, dann müssen sie wieder an die Füllstation. Die Maschinen werden nur mit dem normalen Kesseldruck von 12 atü befüllt, es gibt keinen Hochdruckkessel im Inneren des Kessels wie bei modernen feuerlosen Lokomotiven.

Fireless locos 6 and 8 in Pagottan

Es sieht etwas eigentümlich aus, wenn man die großen Lokomotiven ohne ihre Tender im Einmannbetrieb herumfahren sieht. Neu ist auch, dass jetzt teilweise zwei Lokomotiven zum Schieben der Züge benutzt werden.

Bis auf Nr. 5 wurden alle anderen Lokomotiven (Nr. 1, 2 und 3) aus dem Schuppen geholt und im freien abgestellt. Nr. 3 hat keinen Kessel.
